Hayden's first pedicure!

Hayden took a nap the other day so I took that opportunity to paint her cute little toenails. Once she realized that there was something different on her feet she kept trying to grab them to get a better look. She even tried to put them in her mouth to get a quick taste! It was so funny. She is so cute & I love her so much!

The joys of parenting

We had our family pictures in La Jolla this weekend. The time got pushed back because of the tide so I was slightly worried because Hayden can get rather grouchy when it gets close to nap time. She did good for the most part, but the shoot made an abrupt end when Hayden decided to eat a fist full of sand... poor sweetie. I will post pictures from the shoot as soon as they are available! Let's fastforward to last night... Hayden got her first bloody nose. She was just standing there and all of a sudden her nose was bleeding. I overreacted (as usual). After making sure she was ok, I immediately jumped on http://www.babycenter.com/ to make sure I didn't have anything to worry about. Oh the joys of parenting! :)

The happenings of Hayden

So why start a blog? Because my life revolves around Hayden! This past year has been an amazing one in the Pace household and I can only imagine the things to come. I figured what an awesome way to fill in all of our far away friends and family than with a blog. My goal is to do a weekly update of her adventures. I would say daily updates but I'm not sure if I can be that punctual about it. Hayden is always doing something funny and I want EVERYONE to know about it. Well, not everyone, but all the people we love & care about the most. I hope you all enjoy my blog and check in periodically to see what we have been up to!
